This half-day pre-marital counselling program is
tailored to you individually and as a couple.
Preparing
for Life Together
will help you with the daily challenges of living
together in a committed relationship.
Participating
in this program will help you:
- Gain valuable
new insights about love and relationships
- Create a
shared vision of the life you would like to have
together
- Know the
difference between shared values and shared
interests
- Let go of
expectations that inhibit closeness
- Discover new
ways to overcome communication gridlock
- Learn skills
that will help you stay together while growing
as individuals
Preparing
for Life Together
is designed for pre-marital couples of all ages and
relationship experience.
The program
offers the benefits of a workshop, but does so in a
three-hour private session. It will
be like having your own personalized workshop. You
will be given a workbook to take home with you
afterwards. The workbook includes some experiential
learning activities, explanatory notes and a
bibliography for further
reading.
In this
Couple-to-Couple
session (we work as a husband-and-wife
co-counselling team), you will have the opportunity
to discuss openly any personal concerns that you
may have.
You'll
explore some of the challenges that newlyweds --
and in fact, all couples -- face. You will learn
how to grow together as individuals, while
maintaining an emotionally close and committed
relationship. And you'll come away from the session
with new insights and valuable skills to help move
your relationship forward.
If
there are issues that you still need to address
once you have completed the program, you may
continue by visiting us periodically for a
Couple-to-Couple™
session.
The fee for
this one-couple only premarital program is $450.00
+ GST (per couple). Payment may be made in one or
two installments to suit your personal budget.
Payment
Options:
To
ensure that the time you choose is exclusively
yours -- we require a 50% deposit by VISA,
MasterCard, or Interac Email Money
Transfer.
The balance of your payment is paid at the end of
the session (or in installments, which can be
arranged when you are here). We accept payments in
person by
VISA, MasterCard, Debit Card, Cheque or Cash.
Counselling services may be covered by some
Extended Health Insurance Plans. (Please check with
your Provider or call us to discuss this
option.)

Couples Retreat

(just east of Orangeville). Your private premarital
couples retreat will combine three hours of
pre-marital counselling plus one night's Bed and
Breakfast stay for the all-inclusive price of
$585.00 + GST (You can choose the evening before or
